Crazy Montus!

While the 94, 98 and 04 I drank showed similarities, this one goes into a complete different direction.

03 seem to have been ultra hot here too and you can taste it!

Burnt, extra dry, intense and full of roasted aromas.

I was highly impressed by this vintage as the “fruity tannat character” isn’t here and the “super spiky tannins” show like massive dark chocolate brownie – intense, but still melting.

I love this style, this must be a very unique vintage from very special weather conditions.

And if you’re wondering:

Is that tasting like jam? No! No! No! It’s super dry, super concentrated and with lots of enjoyable grip!

Awesome, this wine does not stop the impress me.
