Palate shows true and pure „elegant power“. Strong, but ultra noble tannins.

Medium+ roasted finish.

Don’t be disappointed. I know I might not have rated this as high as some would have expected and I will tell you why:

If it comes to the structure, the balance, the elegance – the wine is impeccable and almost perfect.

Now, moving over to the bouquet and finish, I found the wine not complex enough to merit more points (at this point).

This doesn’t mean that this Pomerol is stunning! Honestly, these must be the most noble tannins I have ever had in my glas. But does this lead me to overrate it? Nope.

Excellent wine still, would drink, but not buy again for 130€.
