The usual #newworld#malbec I drink is like this:
Fruity, low tannins, low depth, sweet.
This high altitude Malbec is different:
In the Bouquet, a lot of minerals, some coffee, some sweet red berries, hot stone.
On the palate it shows a cold and elegant side with some blurry fruit and a very mineralic and “salty” side. Firm tannins.
Different from the malbec I drank from #mendoza so far. I love this strong minerals and especially that it does not taste that modern.
