Äußerst reiches und ansprechendes Bouquet, Pflaumen, Brombeeren, Tabak und getoastetem Holz im Unterton.
Am Gaumen von unglaublicher Stoffigkeit und Textur, hohe Dichte, eine wahre Fruchtbombe mit hoher Persistenz. Wunderschönes Zusammenspiel aus Süße und Säure, bei dem keines der Komponente die Überhand zu gewinnen scheint. Ausgesprochen ausgeglichen mit pikanten Ansätzen zum Ende hin. Wenig und sehr gut eingebundenes Tannin.
Der Abgang ist von guter Länge, ist jedoch etwas zu holzig.

Wine Juggler Fazit: Tja… schon der zweite Tag hinter einander an dem ich merke: Piedmont hat doch Weine für mich übrig, die mir nicht nur gut schmecken, sondern auch phantastisch sein können!
Ein stark ausgeglichener Wein, der am Gaumen nur noch Lust auf mehr macht! Er ist am Gaumen sowas von Körperbereich, ausgeglichen und vollmundig, dass man jeden Schluck bis aufs Äußerste genießt – und das ist nicht schwer, denn der Geschmack bleibt lange haften!
Heute bin ich so ziemlich überwältigt und muss mir in Zukunft wirklich überlegen, noch mehr Weine aus der Region zu probieren!
Wer wird diesen Wein lieben: Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass dieser Wein jemandem nicht schmeckt. Mach einer wird ihm vielleicht vorwerfen zu modern zu sein (was er ist). Aber: Who cares wenn der Wein so gut schmeckt und sonst alle anderen Qualitäten mitbringt. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Extremely rich and appealing bouquet, plums, blackberries, tobacco and toasted wood undertones.
On the palate of incredible texture with high density – a real fruit bomb of high persistence. Beautiful interplay of sweetness and acidity, in which none of the component seem to gain the upper hand. Highly balanced with piquant approaches the end. Only a few and very well integrated tannins.
The finish is of good length, but is somewhat too toasted.

Wine Juggler conclusion: Well … it’s the second day in succession that I realize : Piedmont wines cannot just be good, but also can be fantastic!
A highly balanced wine, which will make your palate ask for MORE, MORE and MORE – and this is not difficult, because the taste will stick long and every sip will be a delice!
Today I am pretty overwhelmed and need to really think about to try more wines from that region in the future!
Who will love this wine: I cannot imagine that someone will not like this wine. Okay, maybe someone will say: “its modern crap” – but: Who cares when the wine tastes so good.
